Automotive inverters play a crucial role in converting energy within the electric powertrain system of an electric vehicle. Even though the development of batteries is encountering the bottleneck of further increasing their energy density, the market for inverters is set to experience positive growth in 2023 due to rising vehicle sales. To enhance the driving range of electric vehicles, manufacturers and Tier-1 suppliers are turning to inverters equipped with SiC-MOSFETs.
