Simba's K-12 Mathematics Market Survey Report reports on its 2023 national survey of math teachers and administrators to reveal what buyers of math materials are using, who makes the purchasing decisions, use of core vs. non-core program, key attributes desired in a core or supplemental program, state math adoption status and much more. The report also includes data on the latest trends impacting the market, including addressing learning loss, declines in math performance, and new strategies and approaches for teaching math. The data is derived from the Simba 2023 survey as well as interviews with industry executives and other authoritative sources. Among the key findings provided in the report are that over half of survey respondents use core math programs and student engagement is the most valued attribute in a Core instructional product. The report also forecasts a stable level of purchasing for 2023-2024 school year.
