The German new car market increased by 1.1% in the full year 2022 to 2,651,357 passenger cars, the second lowest number of new passenger vehicle registrations in a calendar year in Germany in decades. Sales of light commercial vehicles, trucks, buses, and motorcycles sales were weaker.
