The Global Fixed-Wing Transport Aircraft Market is poised to grow strong during the forecast period 2018 to 2027. However, the ejection speed is higher than the flying speed and increasing maintenance cost of the old aircraft is restricting the market growth.

A fixed-wing aircraft is a flying machine, such as an aeroplane or aeroplane, which is capable of flight using wings that generate lift caused by the aircraft's forward airspeed and the shape of the wings. There are various classes of fixed-wing aircraft such as fighter, bombers, transport and maritime patrol aircraft. Fixed-wing fighter aircraft is designed and developed primarily for air to air combat. Fixed-wing aircraft generally have the long life span but they need to upgrade continuously in terms of speed, power and ejection and stealth mode.

Amongst technology, the stealth system is also called as Low Observable technology (LO). This means that the people, the vehicles and the missiles and satellites used in the war are made less observable or almost invisible to the enemy's eyes. Stealth System is a widely used concept in military warfare that works on the principle of reflection and absorption of radar signals. By deflecting the incoming radar waves into another direction, the frequency of the number of outgoing radar waves is minimized. As a result, the aircraft gets partially invisible.

By Geography, North America is estimated to grow at a significant rate during the forecast period. Although still faces a dire need to procure new and more advanced aircraft to sustain its global military. The United States is expected to invest heavily in multi-role aircraft, with a primary focus on the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program. Moreover, North America is witnessing an increase in the number of developments related to missile defence systems. The US Defense Forces are procuring advanced weaponry to achieve military dominance in the region, besides ensuring internal peace and security. Recently, the United States successfully carried out testing of a key missile defence system, which can knock down incoming intermediate-range missiles.
