Advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and automated driving systems (ADS) for commercial vehicles have been gaining market attention for several years. These systems are expected to continue development and market penetration. Due to touted safety improvements, governments around the globe have begun to craft regulations to require ADAS in new commercial vehicle sales to reduce the severity and frequency of collisions and other accidents.
