About Motorcycle Laser Headlight

The primary use of motorcycle lighting is to ensure visibility to the driver, improve vehicle's visibility to other drivers, and intimate the presence and position of the vehicle to others. OLED and laser are advanced lighting technologies. The adoption of these technologies in the automobile industry is still in its nascent stage.

The laser technology took a giant leap in the auto industry in 2014, when Audi announced laser-powered headlights on the Audi Sport Quattro laser light concept car. Though, in the two-wheeler segment, the technology was first showcased by BMW in its K1600GTL concept model motorcycle. It is 10 times more efficient and brighter than any other headlamps and at the same time consume 30% less power.
