About LFPs
Large or wide format printers are devices, which are used to print on surfaces that are in the range of 17-100 inches such as banners, posters, and all forms of signboards and signage. Large format printers (LFPs) are mostly used for commercial purposes rather than personal use because of its high costs. Commonly used ink types in LFPs include solvents, aqueous, and UV cured. Generally, the material used in these types of printers is in roll form instead of individual sheets that are used in printers smaller than them. Advances in technology across various components of LFPs such as ink and working mechanism have increased its efficiency and productivity.
