This IDC study examines the worldwide network intelligence and threat analytics (NITA) market for 2020-2024.In the "duh" category, pricing matters. It's tough for security tools to prove a return on investment (ROI) in a proof of concept. One of the boasts of the user behavioral analytics (UBA) component of NITA is that the analytics becomes more accurate as more user behavior is observed. Along with UBA, NITA offers the ability to see unusual session data or port activity or many other anomalous network activities. NITA tools can demonstrate value out of the box while also improving diagnostically over time."It sounds funny when you say it, but what better way to understand the potential impact of an incident on a network than to measure and monitor the network itself?
