This IDC study presents the worldwide education top 10 predictions for 2021."The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated online learning into full-production digital services, such as personalized student learning journeys, which connect students and alumni; parents and caregivers; teaching, research, and administrative staff; donors and philanthropists; and technology start-ups and hiring corporates," says Gerald Wang, head and associate director, IDC Asia/Pacific Public Sector. "Although the earlier phases of accelerated digitalization focused on providing basic access to connectivity and computing devices, more institutions are now focused on enhanced curriculum and administrative automation as well as continually innovating to create new digital services for state-of-the-art stakeholder engagements and cutting-edge operational models," he adds.
