This IDC study highlights how the IT channel ecosystem can participate in the rapidly growing IoT marketplace. Increasingly, IoT is driving end-customer demand and is changing the scale of IT computing, necessitating that all IT partners get on board. "For channel partners to succeed in IoT, there are prerequisite competencies they must optimize and business model changes they must embrace. Partners cannot do it all and need to work with an ecosystem of providers across industries to succeed," said Pam Miller, director, Partnering Research in Channels and Alliances, IDC.
