Among the top 10 markets, the leading importers of furniture are the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, and France that account for around one-third of the world furniture consumption. These four countries are also large producers for the internal consumption, with high per capita income, high labour costs, and a structurally negative balance of furniture trade.
