The Vietnamese beer market increased sales by nearly 8% in 2015, which was the fastest rate of growth seen since 2011. The economic recovery helped to enhance consumers' disposable income levels and this improved purchasing power over the course of the year. Total beer imports volumes has increased by 28% compared to 2014, with a further increase predicted for 2016. The dynamism of the beer market was driven by growth in the premium (+24%) and super premium (+18%) segments, both of which grew well ahead of the market. Large-sized metal keg sales were on the rise in particular, with 5000cl metal keg growing by more than 14%.
