Hong Kong is highly reliant on international brands to populate their beer market. In 2015 the international brands have been dominant over the market in Hong Kong. Although there were many microbreweries popping up in the country but they are bound geographically to operate on a large scale. Craft beer is the new trend catching up. An average Hong Kong customer is open to trying new flavors and variations and hence the trend is likely to continue in the coming years.
