This report provides an in-depth analysis of the Vietnamese bathroom market including the monitoring of recent trend patterns and demand drivers, plus substantiated volume forecasts for the next 5 years. Vietnam's economy continues to show fundamental strength, supported by robust domestic demand and export-oriented manufacturing. The GDP per capita has increased 2.7 times from 2002 to 2018, to reach over USD 2,700 in 2019. In 2019, sales of baths and shower trays grew in Vietnam. While volume sales of luxury bathroom products such as cast iron and steel baths decreased, the sales of synthetic baths grew at a significant rate compared to the previous year.

The Vietnamese sanitary ware saw good growth during 2019, continuing the trend from the previous year. The market saw steady growth in all the segments propelled by growth in commercial and housing construction and completions especially in the rural regions. The faucet market, in tandem with the sanitary ware market, also witnessed a good overall growth in sales and which bettered the previous year. Shower wall sales also have been growing at a decent rate over the past few years. In 2019 as well, the market witnessed good positive growth with sales of shower enclosures, hydrotherapy shower cubicles as well as bath screens exhibiting positive growth.
