"Operators' revenue from TV and video services in developed Asia-Pacific will peak in 2023; OTT services will offset the decline in traditional pay-TV revenue up to this point."

Pay-TV providers and operators in developed Asia-Pacific (DVAP) will offset the decline in the number of cable and satellite subscriptions in the region by gaining IPTV and OTT users. However, this rebalancing will not extend to revenue: OTT services will only offset the decline in traditional pay-TV revenue until 2023.

This report provides:

  • forecasts for the number of pay-TV households and services, the number of premium OTT video users, their retail revenue (spend) and average spend per user (ASPU)
