ABI Research conducted an industry survey on transformative technology adoption and attitudes of 455 decision makers, influencers, and implementers in the following verticals: Retail, Healthcare, Logistics, Automotive, Manufacturing, Utilities, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Local, State, and Federal governments. This report provides a summary of the findings and main conclusions for the CPG segment related to the adoption and use of smart in-store retail technologies such as beacons, POS, indoor location, AI-based analytics, connected packaging, the impact of multi-channel and e-commerce strategies on the role of brick-and-mortar retail, the fulfillment loop and market adjacencies, and technology adoption drivers and barriers.
