Study Summary
This study is an update to the eight-year series of Visant Strategies WiMAX
research reports. This report provides up to date market figures and a focus
on the impact of 802.16m and the viability of the platform in the future. It
considers the specific 802.16m enhancements which will make the greatest
difference to mobile wireless and fixed wireless carriers and it also focuses
on applications, spectrum and geographic markets where WiMAX can prosper.
Current mobile WiMAX successes and leading service providers are studied and
the impact of recent defections to LTE are considered as are the prospects for

allocations throughout the world.
