VDC recently released its report on Embedded Processors, providing market intelligence on processor platforms used in embedded computing applications. The report provides detailed data and segmentation on CPUs, DSPs, FPGAs, and MCUs used in embedded applications. These four major processing technologies covered are segmented by individual classification as well as collectively to measure how many units of each individual processor architecture proliferate in each of the many fragmented embedded vertical markets relative to each other.
