Synopsis

This report analyzes the revenue and unit opportunities for Power Architecture-based embedded processors (MCUs/eMPUs, ASICs/ASSPs and FPGAs) in 20 application areas, identifying which are the key sectors for growth. This study is an update of the report last published by Semicast on this market in 2007.

Semicast has a strategic focus on embedded processing and provides on-going research services to the global industry. Semicast' s Embedded Processing Service provides coverage of 32/64-bit MCUs/eMPUs, general purpose DSPs, ASICs/ASSPs and PLDs/FPGAs.
