Synopsis

This study is an update of the report last published by Semicast on this market in June 2009 and analyzes the revenue and unit opportunities for ARM-based embedded processors (MCUs, eMPUs, ASICs/ASSPs and FPGAs) in 23 application areas, identifying which are the key sectors for growth. Base year is 2010, with forecasts to 2016. Note, the report scope has been expanded for the 2011 edition to include analysis of market demand in eBook Readers/Media Tablets/Netbooks.
