The majority (63%) of respondents are currently working at a University, College, or Medical School. All participants are located in the United States or Canada.

Participants hold diverse roles at their institutions. Junior (Lab Tech, Grad Students), mid level (Post-Doc, Lab Manager) and senior (Professor/PI, Group Leader) scientists are well represented in the data set, with the most cited job titles being Post-Doctoral Fellow (23%), Senior Scientist (18%) and Graduate Student (15%).
