Abstract

Fixed - mobile convergence (FMC), and in particular dual-mode device services, were the big story of 2006. Now, a year later, it's time ask questions about the success of FMC to date. Have the promises of seamless solutions and pent-up user demand lived up to expectations? In this report we examine the FMC landscape and look in detail at the operator launches to date, and discuss whether FMC has delivered on its promises.
