The Global Wet Scrubbers Market is growing at XX% CAGR and is expected to reach USD XXX by 2020 from USD XXX in 2015.

Wet Scrubbers are used to remove pollutants from the furnace flue gases or other gas streams, which are brought in contact with the scrubbing fluid using various contact methods and capture the dust particles in liquid droplets. These scrubbers are used designed and used according to the various requirements depends on the industrial processes and the type of flue gases.

With the increase in the flue gas treatment techniques in various industries, the wet scrubber market is on rise. Also, with the reduced size of the equipment and flexibility, the scrubbers reduce the temperature and volume of the unsaturated exhaust stream. This help in the smaller equipment sizes, which results in the lower capital costs. Also, the wet scrubbers have no temperature limits or condensation problems and can handle high humidity gas streams.

Various commercially utilized wet scrubbers include low energy scrubbers, medium energy scrubbers and high energy scrubbers. These are mostly catered to the industrial needs. The major demand for the wet scrubbers is from North America and Europe. With the increase in the shale exploration and industrialization in the countries in Asia pacific, a medium to high demand for wet scrubbers is expected.
