Global adipic acid market has been estimated at USD XX billion in 2015 and is projected to reach USD XX billion by 2020, at a CAGR of XX% during the forecast period from 2015 to 2020.

The largest production of adipic acid is in North American region, due to a strong need from the engineering plastics and textiles industry. The adipic acid is majorly produced by the countries like China, United States, Japan and Germany. Most of the countries do not have a production capacity except a few single digit manufacturing units. The emission of nitrous oxide possessed a serious threat to the large scale production. However, the emissions have lowered down greatly and are supposed to get completely controlled in the coming years.

The global adipic acid market is expected to gain in emerging markets rapidly, due to increase in demand.
