The mobile network as we know it has reached the end of its life. Traditional cellular designs can no longer sustain the rising volumes of data a mobile operator must handle, without incurring levels of cost which cannot possibly deliver profit in a world of price wars and falling ARPUs.

This report, based on detailed surveys and modelling of operators' five-year plans for their network deployments and business models, will forecast investment in all these key RAN technologies, traditional and emerging.
