Description
The success and progression of the Bluetooth headset market has been
influenced and affected by many factors over the past 12 months. With
competitive products and improved features combined with the aggressive
decline in both mono and stereo headset ASPs, the market has become difficult
to predict.
In order to look at the current Bluetooth headset market and what consumers,
who own a headset and those who are interested in purchasing, expect and use
headsets for, IMS Research has produced a report entitled “Consumer
Usage and Expectations of Bluetooth Headsets- 2008 Edition”.
Respondents surveyed for this report were those from the UK, North America,
Germany, Russia and China. Particular areas focused on were purchasing
decisions, branding importance, design features and functionality and usage
patterns. This insight is provided to help strategy managers and product
developers in OEMs and ODMs to understand trends and opportunities which will
