and detailed assessment of the worldwide water & heat meter market. It uses
2007 as the base year with forecasts to 2012. Actual consumption metering of
water and heat usage is seeing increased implementation in response to
concerns over water scarcity and high energy costs.
IMS' aim in writing this report is to provide companies active in this market
with a detailed and accurate assessment of water and heat meters in the
Americas, EMEA, and Asia, shown on a country level. Meter shipments are split
by seven product categories for water meters and four categories for heat
