Abstract
The report is devoted to research of market of natural chalk and current standing of company-producers of the product in CIS countries. The report is composed of 9 Chapters, contains 145 pages, 26 Figures, 77 Tables and Appendix.
The first Chapter of the report gives brief characteristics of world market of chalk, estimates volumes of production of the product, presents prices on chalk products at world market.
The second Chapter of the report is devoted to analysis of resources base of chalk in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan. It presents data on reserves of chalk in the countries, quantity of deposits, regional pattern of location of reserves. Besides, the Chapter presents briefly description of some deposits of chalk, including quality data of the resources.
The third Chapter describes flow sheets of chalk production, applied at present time, presents data and contact information on leading suppliers of equipment for production of chalk.
The fourth Chapter presents statistical data on volumes of mining and production of chalk in CIS countries, as well as describes current standing of company-producers of chalk, including data on age of the company, pattern of ownership, sources of resources, applied technologies of chalk production, characteristics of the products and their markets. The seventh Chapter of the report offers price analysis of chalk markets. The Chapter presents data on average prices of Russian producers of chalk for the latest 6 years, shows current release prices on chalk of various grades. Besides, the Chapter presents analysis of export-import prices on chalk products.
The eighth Chapter of the report is devoted to production of natural chalk substitutes: synthetic and chemically-precipitated chalk.
