This report is the first edition of the rails of market research in Russia and CIS countries.

Market monitoring is carried out since 2005.

The purpose of the study of rail market for various purposes, primarily for the railway transport.

Object of research are the rails for various purposes, mainly rail.

This work is a desk study. As information sources, we used data of Rosstat, the statistical offices of the CIS countries, statistics of rail transportation of the Russian Federation, the UN data, data of sectoral and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of companies, as well as web-sites of producers of rails.

Chronological scope of the study: 2005-2015, forecast 2016-2025

Geography of research: the Russian Federation and the CIS countries are complex detailed analysis of the market.

The report consists of 7 Sections, contains 125 pages, including 29 figures, 38 tables and 1 appendix.

The first chapter shows the classification of the rail given the characteristics of the main types of rails, given the technical requirements, the technologies of production.

The second chapter summarizes the manufacture of rails in Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan, it shows the dynamics of production in 2005-2015 in the CIS countries. Also, a description of the main producers of rails in Russia and Ukraine, provided information on their production volumes, domestic sales and exports.

The third chapter presents data on export and import operations with the rails in the CIS in 2005-2015, showing the direction of supply, importers and distributors of these products.

The fourth chapter provides information on the dynamics of domestic prices on the rails in Russia, given the dynamics of export and import prices of the CIS countries.

The fifth chapter is devoted to the apparent consumption of the rails in the CIS in 2005-2015. The dynamics of consumption in CIS countries, given the regional structure of consumption in Russia.

In the sixth and seventh chapters of multivariate given a reasonable forecast of production and consumption of rail in the CIS countries in 2016-2025.
