Abstract
The report is devoted to investigation of current standing of market of
calcium hypochlorite in CIS countries and forecast of the market development.
The report consists of 6 Sections, contains 78 pages, including 22 Figures, 36
Tables and Appendix. This work is desk study. As information sources, we used
data of Rosstat, Inter-State Committee on Statistics of CIS countries, Federal
Customs Service of Russia, official domestic railage statistic of JSC RZhD
(former Ministry of Railway Transport of Russia), sectoral (industrial) and
regional press, annual and quarterly reports of companies, as well as data
from web-sites of company-producers and consumers of calcium hypochlorite.
The first Section is devoted to description of resources for production of
calcium hypochlorite, their characteristics, technology of calcium
hypochlorite production, and data on the main suppliers of resources, flows
and volumes of the supplies.
The second Section of the report is devoted to production of calcium
hypochlorite in CIS countries. The Section of the report presents statistical
and estimated data on volumes of production of calcium hypochlorite in Russia,
Ukraine and other CIS countries. In addition, quality parameters of the
obtained products are given.
The third Section of the report describes data on foreign trade in calcium
hypochlorite in Russia for 1999 - 2006 and in Ukraine in 2003 - 2006
The fourth Section presents data on prices on calcium hypochlorite at Russian
market, as well as analysis of data on dynamics of export-import prices on the
product in Russia and Ukraine from 1999 to 2006
The fifth Section of the report describes consumption of calcium hypochlorite
in Russia. The Section presents supply-demand balance of the product, sectoral
structure of consumption, the main consumers, as well as describes current
standing and prospects of development of the greatest company-consumers.
The sixth Section of the report presents forecast of development of Russian
market of calcium hypochlorite up to 2010.
The Appendix presents addresses and contact information on company-producers
of calcium hypochlorite in CIS countries.
