About the Self-Balancing Scooter Market

Self-balancing scooters are two-wheeled boards with motors that can be used for commuting. They look similar to the popular self-balancing electric vehicle, called the Segway, but they come without a handle. The self-balancing scooter works on gyroscopic technology and can travel at an average speed 15 km/h. It contains lithium-ion batteries that can be charged fully within two to three hours and can be used to travel a distance of about 20 km with one full charge. Self-balancing scooters are easy to ride and are portable as they weigh approximately 10 kg. They offer an alternative to cars and bikes for short-distance commuting, saving on travel cost and time. As self-balancing scooters run on batteries, they are zero-carbon-emission vehicles.
