About the Automotive Passive Keyless Entry Systems Market

PKE systems are the most advanced keyless entry system currently available. These systems operate with two integrated circuits that act as radio transmitters - one is placed in the key fob and the other inside the vehicle. Both these transmitters have to communicate with each other to lock/unlock vehicle doors and to activate the ignition system.

For instance, a driver carrying the key fob in his pocket needs to touch the door handle that initiates a low-frequency signal from the vehicle to the transmitter in the fob. When the fob receives this signal, it initiates a second high-frequency signal with authentication codes to the vehicle transmitter. As the vehicle receives the second signal, the doors are locked/unlocked, and the ignition system is activated/deactivated.
