Processed meats are meat products that are preserved by salting, smoking, curing, or adding chemical preservatives. These products primarily include sausage, bacon, hot dogs and corndogs, ham and ham lunchmeat, packaged lunch kits, meat snacks, lunchmeat, and other processed meat.
