About Black Pepper

Black pepper is a sub-product of pepper which is known as the ""King of Spices."" It is a native product of South India. It is produced from unripe drupes of the pepper plant. These drupes are cooked, cleaned, and dried. From the dried black pepper corns, three by-products are obtained: black pepper spirit, which is used in medicinal and beauty products; black pepper oil, which is used in ayurvedic massage oil and beauty and herbal treatments; and black pepper, which is used as a spice for culinary.
