About Aerosol Propellant

Aerosol propellants comprise two components: aerosols and propellants. Aerosols area mixture of liquid and solid particles suspended in air or gas, whereas propellants are chemicals that generate pressure and push the content out of the container. Aerosol propellants provide a convenient method of dispensing aerosols. They provide a targeted stream, which ensures minimal wastage. Based on product type, aerosol propellants are classified into hydrocarbons, nitrous oxide and carbon dioxide, DME, CFC, and others. Aerosol propellants are widely used in personal care, household, pharmaceutical, paint and coating, industrial, and related applications.
