About Wiper

A wiper is used to clean dirt and mud from a windshield of an automobile. It improves the visibility by cleaning unwanted particles that get accumulated on windscreen especially during bad weather such as dust storms, rain, and snow, thereby, preventing accidents and increasing the safety of driver and passengers. An automotive wiper system consists of six main components: wiper drive gear, wiper wheel box, windshield wash pump, wiper motor, wiper switch, and washer jet. Some of the other components include the wiper blade, insulated strap, and small electrical-circuit components.
