Abstract
This research report presents Chinese mobile phone baseband, transceiver, and
power amplifier market volume, including volume and share by solution
provider. The report also includes Chinese mobile phone vendors' shipment
volume and share by system technology. The content of this report is based on
primary data obtained through interviews with Chinese mobile phone vendors and
chipmakers. This research finds that in the second quarter of 2009, the
adoption share of CDMA and GSM technologies in Chinese mobile phone vendors'
shipment volume remained at approximately the same level as previous quarters.
MediaTek continued to dominate the baseband processor and transceiver markets
in China, while Skyworks retained its leading status in the PA market.
