Abstract
In February 2009, Nokia announced its intention to enter the netbook PC
market. On September 2, at the Nokia World 2009 event, the company announced
the specifications and price of its netbook PC product Booklet 3G. For its
Booklet 3G product, Nokia has opted for the mainstream Wintel architecture.
The product features a 10.1" screen and is equipped with the Ovi platform.
This report examines the product positioning of Nokia' s Booklet 3G and
analyzes the impact of this new product on the netbook PC market.
