Abstract
This IDC study forecasts revenue for the messaging security market worldwide.
It provides a top-down sizing of the messaging security market in 2008 and a
2009-2013 forecast for this market.
"The high rate of adoption for virtual security appliances is synergistic with
current server virtualization strategies, a natural reaction to the
proliferation of too many small appliances (appliance fatigue), and compatible
with green IT initiatives," said Brian Burke, program director for IDC' s
Security Products program.
