Abstract
This IDC study discusses HP' s financial standing, product and service
offerings, key partnerships, and growth and plans for the future. It also
discusses the firm' s key competitors, specific competitive advantages, future
focus moving forward, and key challenges.
"While HP has been a long-time print market leader, the company continues to
make substantial changes to its business in order to maintain its leadership
position. Its recent IPG restructuring and renewed focus on targeting printed
pages, print services engagements, and more direct engagements with customers
show that HP intends to keep a firm grasp on its current market standing," said
Keith Kmetz, program vice president of IDC' s Hardcopy Peripherals Solutions and
Services.
