Abstract

This IDC study discusses the key takeaways from the 2007 IDC/ARMA International Information Management for Compliance Survey.

"IDC conducted this survey as a follow-up to the 2005 survey discussed in Records Retention for Compliance: A Survey of Internal Stakeholders (IDC #201459, May 2006)," says Vivian Tero, program manager for Compliance Infrastructure. Tero adds, "There is a marked shift in the motivations behind corporate investments in records management and information initiatives. This shift is influencing technology spending priorities."
