PCS revenue of the combined HCM and payroll market is forecast to be approximately 48% by 2020 and will display a CAGR of 20.7% for the same period. On-premise revenues are projected to grow by 2.4% in 2016, and the projected CAGR is 1.4% for the period up to 2020.Compensation and learning management applications are forecast to be the strongest growing functional subsegments for the period up to 2020 with five-year CAGRs of 14.1% and 14.3%, respectively. Recruiting's projected CAGR is 9.3% with expected growth for 2016 at 9.7%, but the overall combined market is showing healthy growth rates.This IDC study analyzes and sizes the Western European HCM and payroll accounting applications market for 2013-2015 and provides a forecast for 2016-2020. The study segments the combined applications market by functional segment (seven functional segments), deployment model (SaaS and on premise), and Western European country (16 countries). It replaces the previous forecast (IDC's Western Europe Human Capital Management and Payroll Accounting Applications Forecast, 2015-2019)."The HCM market is one of the fastest growing segments in the wider ERM space and of the key growth drivers for packaged applications overall.
