This IDC study describes the IDC MaturityScape for digital experience delivery, which identifies the stages, dimensions, outcomes, and actions that organizations should consider to effectively develop DX delivery competency. The IDC MaturityScape for DX delivery is a framework that enables organizations of all sizes to assess their current DX delivery maturity, uncover maturity gaps, and prioritize investments to attain desired outcomes based on organizational goals.Organizations can use the IDC MaturityScape for DX delivery to maximize returns on investment (ROIs) in DX technologies, people, and processes. In addition, organizations can use this IDC MaturityScape as a tool to encourage and improve intragroup and intergroup collaboration in defining and executing their DX delivery strategy and promoting and encouraging the use of innovative DX delivery solutions while building a solid foundation for the future.This study will be followed by the IDC MaturityScape Benchmark for digital experience delivery research. That research will provide a quantified assessment of the current state of DX delivery maturity based on end-user survey data."Organizations charting their course to DX delivery maturity must evolve their vision and strategy, ensure organizational alignment and the availability of appropriately skilled staff, put an effective methodology and supporting processes in place, and navigate a broad array of technology choices in an era of technology innovation and evolution," said Melissa Webster, VP for Content and Digital Media Technologies.
