This IDC study explores the results of IDC's 2014 survey of 503 United States-based HR executives on their attitudes and actions on the use of mobile in HR delivery. The survey was completed in February 2014. The results point to slow adoption of mobile. With the proliferation of mobile devices, HR and HRIT need to consider stepping up the support for and use of mobile devices for workforce connectivity.

"This study examines the results and offers suggestions for HR executives on ways in which mobile can be successfully deployed to improve the employee experience and to HR solutions providers on what to focus on with buyers," says Lisa Rowan, research vice president, HR and Talent Management Services.
