目錄

This IDC study (a translation of the Japanese report IDC #J11290107) analyzes the Japan cloud services market landscape and the business trends among the market's leading vendors.

The Japan cloud services market is entering its diffusion phase in earnest and its market share is likely to grow smoothly. Meanwhile, competition among vendors will intensify during the diffusion phase and the weeding out of vendors that cannot keep up with the competition will begin. In addition, cloud services are continuously being enhanced with new functions according to user companies' requirements, which in effect increase the service value and at the same time increases the loyalty toward vendors. Meanwhile, many vendors are new to the cloud services business and there are also many vendors with half-formed frameworks for incorporating users' requirement into their services. "For cloud service providers that started late, creating road maps and faithful execution are effective weapons against the leading vendors," says Satoshi Matsumoto, research manager, IT Services, IDC Japan.
