目錄

This IDC study examines the converged systems market by analyzing the results of a 300-respondent survey. The analysis includes the responsibilities of the IT organization, the size of the infrastructure, the potential benefits and challenges of converged systems, and current market leaders.

"Converged systems have gained momentum within the customer's IT organization in the past year," says Jed Scaramella, research manager, IDC's Enterprise Server. "While converged systems can be a building block for private cloud environments, there are intrinsic benefits to convergence outside of a cloud. Customers view converged systems as a solution to simplify IT, improve availability, and lower operating costs."
