目錄

This IDC study presents IDC's continuous collection, interpretation, and analysis of information on Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) or APEJ security services market. Enterprises are increasingly relying on IT infrastructure resources, to cater to the growing need of end users, which is being characterized by a new generation of clientele: Gen Y and Gen Z, which demand services "anywhere, anytime." Enterprises are cognizant that the level of service availability to these customers will have significant impact on their business objectives. With security concerns arising from internal and external threats, challenging service availability, organizations have continued to invest in security solutions and services to improve their risk profiles.

"IT consumerization, compliance, virtualization, and cloud computing developments happening within the region will have a significant impact on how organizations will address security policies, governance, and the overall security architecture. Standalone solutions are no longer viable to mitigate security threats and organizations will need to approach security from a governance perspective, with a stringent policy-based framework that addresses external and internal threats," says Gowtham Sampath, market analyst, IT Services, IDC Asia/Pacific.
