This IDC study provides an overview of the private market in solar CPV including interesting private vendors in the space. Solar CPV companies appear to have made significant strides toward commercialization in the past two to three years, and 2011 has seen a host of announcements for new project developments and manufacturing ramp-up. Although the total capacity of solar CPV remains a drop in the ocean compared with global solar capacity, utilities, IPPs, and end users, particularly in the United States (SW), are beginning to show interest.
