Abstract
This IDC study looks at the plans and deployments of
next-generation national broadband networks (NBNs) in countries in the Asia/Pacific
(excluding Japan), or APEJ, region. Opportunities that these networks will
bring will also be discussed.
"Next-generation national broadband networks will help
a country to increase its broadband penetration rate and help
increase adoption for new technologies and applications," says Kenneth Liew,
senior market analyst, Communications Research, IDC Asia/Pacific.
