Abstract
This IDC study presents the results of the European WAN
manager survey 2009.
"The 2009 WAN manager survey showed that although
PSTN voice is a long way from being dead, enterprises
across Europe are increasingly turning to IP voice. Almost half
of the companies — 45% — use VoIP services. It
is also evident that VoIP services, with their significant cost
savings and potential efficiency improvements, appeal more to large enterprises
today," said Roosmarijn Cornelissen, research analyst in the EMEA Telecoms
and Networking team.
